Focusing on children and youth who face barriers to social inclusion, we facilitate meaningful relationships that transform young people’s experience of school and community in order that they build self-worth, competencies, and strong mental health. Most of us have some experience in feeling lonely or isolated — especially at school: Struggling to fit in, hoping to make friends, and wanting to be involved! For one reason or another, this can be a struggle, and the results can be devastating to our kids’ health and self-worth. In buying this card, you are helping us to run our Amigos program in local schools — helping kids and teens develop the meaningful connections and lasting friendships that will change their lives.
